Troy Thompson

Troy Thompson is a seasoned professional in credit risk management, currently serving as Senior Director of Commercial Real Estate Credit Risk at FNBO since October 2025. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Bankers Trust from January 2009 to October 2025, and as Vice President of Credit Administration at Heartland Financial USA, Inc. from November 2005 to February 2008. Troy's career also includes roles as Assistant Vice President of Credit Management at Iowa State Bank & Trust Company (now MidwestOne Bank) and as a Bank Examiner for the Iowa Division of Banking. Educational credentials include a degree in Business, Finance & Economics from Morningside University (1992-1996) and completion of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (2003-2005).
