Shauna Ironstar

Shauna Ironstar serves as the Chief People Officer at First Nations Bank of Canada since January 2023, leading the HR function for the organization. Previously, Shauna worked as an Associate Vice President of Human Resources as an Independent Contractor, providing comprehensive HR consultancy services. Additional experience includes roles such as Senior Manager of Employee Services at PLATO Testing, Manager of Talent Acquisition & Volunteers at Regina Exhibition Association Limited, and Manager of Corporate Services at the Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation - Saskatchewan, where key achievements included leading HR service delivery and managing employee benefit transitions. Previous positions also feature significant contributions at Farm Credit Canada, First Nations University of Canada, and SaskEnergy, developing expertise in labor relations, collective bargaining, and employee benefits administration. Educational qualifications include strategic HR leadership and communications certificates from Cornell University and the University of Ottawa, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Regina.
