Derek Olszowy

Derek Olszowy is an experienced healthcare management professional with a robust background in health benefits and cancer care. Currently serving as the Manager of Health Benefits at the First Nations Health Authority since 2016, Derek has previously held positions as Senior Project Manager at BC Cancer Agency and Interim Senior Manager in Regional Operations at Cancer Care Ontario, where responsibilities included overseeing cancer screening programs and supporting regional operations. Additionally, Derek has worked as a Business Analyst managing Access to Care initiatives and as a Consultant with Courtyard Group, contributing to provincial projects. Early career experience includes an Informatics Analyst role at Mount Sinai Hospital, where Derek focused on enhancing electronic medical records.
