Fernanda Franco

Regional Manager, Health Emergency Management at First Nations Health Authority

Fernanda Franco is currently the Regional Manager, Health Emergency Management at the First Nations Health Authority where Fernanda works to prevent and address public health and environmental health emergencies affecting the Indigenous and First Nations population in the Vancouver Coastal Region. Fernanda is also serving as the Regional Project Manager for a new Treatment Centre in the same region, overseeing its design and development in collaboration with First Nations leaderships. Additionally, Fernanda is an Advisor and Senior Project Manager at SunFly Brands, Inc. where Fernanda leads the design and development of a UV and SPF indicator for skin cancer awareness and prevention. Since 2012, Fernanda has been the Co-Owner & Business Administration of Just For Barks, a dog all-in-one center providing grooming, daycare, and training services for dogs in North Vancouver. Fernanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Simon Fraser University.
