Fox Spears

Fox Spears is a Program Manager for Fellowships at First Peoples Fund, focusing on the support and promotion of Native American and Indigenous artists through various fellowship programs. As an enrolled member of the Karuk Tribe, Fox maintains a personal fine art practice that emphasizes contemporary Native art, primarily utilizing monotype printmaking alongside drawing, painting, and murals. Prior experience includes roles as a Design Associate at Blue Daze Designs, PNW Artist Fellowship Facilitator for Nia Tero, and Project Manager at drive21, Inc. Fox's background also features significant positions in project management and design for corporate environments, having worked with organizations such as Hines and OpenSquare in support of Amazon's Global Real Estate and Facilities. Fox Spears holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cornish College of the Arts and has furthered education at UCLA Extension and the Institute of American Indian Arts.
