Edwin Josef

Edwin Josef is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Technical Officer in Corporate Planning at First Philippine Holdings Corporation since November 2019. Prior to this role, Edwin held the position of Vice President of Operations at Citicore Power Inc. from June 2015 to November 2019, where responsibilities included the development, engineering, construction, operation, and maintenance of renewable energy power plants. Edwin also managed operations for receiving stations of refined petroleum products as the North Region Operations Division Head at First Philippine Industrial Corporation from May 2002 to June 2015. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Design Engineer at Asea Brown Boveri, Inc., where Edwin worked on protection, control, SCADA, and substation automation systems, and as a Science Research Specialist at the University of the Philippines Solar Laboratory, focusing on solar and photovoltaic systems. Edwin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Philippines, completed in 1996, and graduated from Ateneo de Manila University in 1989.
