David Harvey currently serves as the Campus Chaplain at Blair Academy and as the Pastor/Head of Staff at First Presbyterian Church. With over 25 years of experience in pastoral leadership, David has a strong background in leading worship services, providing pastoral care and counseling, coordinating church activities, and developing faith formation programs. In their previous roles, David also restructured and coordinated activities within the Newton Presbytery and served as an Associate Pastor for Youth and Mission at First Presbyterian Church. David holds a Master's degree in Theology from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in Health and religious studies from Truman State University.

PC(USA) congregation founded in 1892 in E. Kentucky. Mission-oriented. Annual mission destination for ~400 housing volunteers from around the United States who partner with Housing Development Alliance. Church flanked by two mission cottages. Superb children's choir that draws from local area.
