Michelle Skinner

Michelle Skinner, MLIS, has extensive experience in library services and music. Currently serving as a Reference Librarian at Chickasha Public Library since March 2012, Michelle also fulfills the role of Library Assistant/Genealogist. Additionally, Michelle has been a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma since November 2021 and has contributed as a Pianist and Organist at First Presbyterian Church since April 2017. As a private piano instructor since September 2010, Michelle demonstrates a commitment to music education. A noteworthy internship at The University of Texas at Arlington in June 2020 focused on nursing library services. Michelle holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Oklahoma (2017-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Art from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (2002-2007).
