Susan Phillips

Susan Phillips is currently serving as the Pastor/Head of Staff at First Presbyterian Church since July 2017, being the first woman called to this position. Susan brings a wealth of experience, having served in various positions at different churches over the years. Susan is also a Worship Designer & Workshop Leader at Faithful Spaces, where Susan integrates people and arts to create space for encountering the Sacred and building community. With a background in psychology and degrees from Grinnell College, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and Candler School of Theology, Susan is committed to inclusive and collaborative projects in worship design and community building.
