John Franks

John Franks is the current Pastor of Worship and Community Life at First Presbyterian Church of Augusta. John has been in this role since January 2009. Prior to that, they were an administrative assistant at Glass Service Center from September 2007 to May 2009. John also worked as an administrative assistant at Animal Care Technologies from January 2009 to December 2010.

Some direct reports include DT House - Pastor to Youth and Families, Leigh Fleury - Director of Music and Choir, and Kirk Sauers - Evening Worship Lead. John Franks reports to Mike Hearon, Lead Pastor. They are on a team with Mike Phillips - Pastor of Shepherding, Ken McHeard - Pastor of Discipleship, and John Fender - Pastor of Global Outreach.
