Özgün Darılmaz

Özgün Darılmaz is a Senior Process Engineer at First Quantum Minerals, involved in the Meskan Pb&Zn Development Project since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Project Chief at Polimetal Madencilik San. Ve Tic. A.Ş. from September 2022 to January 2023 and holding roles such as Process Manager and Process Operations Superintendent at Acacia Maden İşletmeleri from April 2020 to April 2022. Özgün began professional career as a Process Engineer at SSR Mining Inc. from October 2017 to April 2020 and previously worked at First Quantum Minerals in the same capacity from July 2015 to October 2017. Early career experience includes a Project Engineer position at Hacettepe Comminution Group from April 2014 to July 2015. Academically, Özgün is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mining and Mineral Engineering at Hacettepe University, having previously earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the same institution.
