Samuel Mulenga

Samuel Mulenga currently serves as Acting Person In-charge at First Quantum Minerals since March 2023, where responsibilities include supervising a team of mining professionals and ensuring safe and efficient operations. With a background at FQM Zambia since October 2013 as a Rigid Dump Truck and Water Bowser Operator, Samuel follows strict safety protocols while operating heavy machinery and transporting materials. Prior experience includes serving as an Environmental Health and Safety Officer at Solwezi General Hospital, focusing on public health and policy development, and as Public Secretary at Scripture Union, providing administrative support. Samuel is currently pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering at Copperbelt University, with a prior Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Chreso University.
