Amjd Adam Ombadi

Amjd Adam Ombadi has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Amjd Adam began their career in 2004 as a Teaching Assistant/Lab Instructor at Karari Academy of Technology, where they developed a series of experiments of analogue/digital electronics and circuit theories and worked with students to carry out the experiments in the lab. In 2007, they joined LTDU-UWIC as a Database Developer, where they worked with curriculum developers and coordinators to identify system requirements and what information should appear on the reports and their presentation. In 2010, they moved to Angel Solutions Ltd as a Software Developer, working on a web application project to build multi-tiered data driven web applications. In 2012, they took on two roles - an IT Contractor at National Electricity Corporation of Sudan, where they were responsible for installing, configuring and managing the software components of the system on a central server, and a Software Developer at GEO & LOGIC, GIS SOLUTION LLC, where they worked on the full project life cycle from analyzing business requirements to the technical design and implementation, testing integration and commissioning of software systems. Finally, in 2014, they became a Technical Project Manager at First Screen.

Amjd Adam Ombadi has a diverse educational background. Amjd Adam obtained a BSc in Electronics and Computer Systems from the University of Khartoum between 1999 and 2004. Amjd Adam then pursued an MSc in Information Systems from Cardiff Metropolitan University between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications from IBM and Microsoft, including Reactive Architecture Foundations (July 2019), MCITP SQL Server 2008 Database Development (June 2011), and MCPD ASP.NET Developer (January 2011).
