Matthew Vild

Matthew Vild is currently a Technical Program Manager II at First Solar since August 2023. Vild has owned and managed Champion Lawn and Garden Care since May 2015. Prior experience includes roles as a Research and Development Engineer at NSG Pilkington from July 2021 to August 2023 and as a Warehouse Manager at Dana Incorporated prior to that. Vild held various internships at Dana Incorporated, including positions as a Product Engineer Intern, Materials Lab Engineer Intern, and Testing and Development Engineer Intern, alongside an internship as an Additive Manufacturing Engineer at Renaissance Services Inc. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Dayton, which was completed in August 2023, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, obtained in December 2020. Vild's foundational education was completed at St. Francis de Sales School in Toledo, OH, graduating in 2016.
