Sreenivas Jayaraman

Sreenivas Jayaraman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sreenivas began their career as an Engineer at Tata Motors India, where they gained experience in various manufacturing processes. Sreenivas then moved on to work as a Graduate Student/Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they further developed their skills. After completing their studies, they joined Intel as a Sr. Process Engineer, focusing on thin film deposition processes for integrated circuits. Sreenivas worked on continuous improvement projects and collaborated with cross-functional teams. Following their time at Intel, Sreenivas joined Numonyx B.V. as a Research Engineer. Currently, they are employed at First Solar, where they have held multiple roles, including Director of Global Manufacturing Engineering. Sreenivas has a strong background in engineering and manufacturing processes, with experience in research, development, and leadership positions.

Sreenivas Jayaraman holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which was obtained between 2000 and 2005. Sreenivas also earned a Bachelor of Technology (Honors) in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 1995 to 1999. In 2020 and 2021, Sreenivas pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at The Ohio State University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Leading Across Generations from Dale Carnegie.
