Norman Osborn has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Norman began their career in 1978 as a City Executive and Commercial Lender at First Union National Bank. Norman then moved to Centura Bank (formerly Peoples Bank), where they held several roles including County Executive and Small Business Segment Manager. In 1999, Osborn joined Cornerstone Bank as President, and later became Senior Vice President and Regional Executive at First South Bank in 2014. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at CresCom Bank as a Senior Vice President and SVP and Commercial Relationship Manager. Currently, Osborn is a Senior Vice President at United Bank, also known as CresCom Bank. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong track record of leadership, business development, and strategic initiatives.

Norman Osborn completed their undergraduate studies from 1971 to 1975 at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). Their field of study during this time focused on business. Following their undergraduate degree, Osborn pursued further education at East Carolina University from 1976 to 1977. Here, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General.
