Jaris McClain

Jaris McClain has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jaris began their career in 2003 as a Lieutenant/Pilot in the US Navy and served until 2013. During this time, they also held roles as an Associate Instructor Pilot and an Aircraft/Mission Commander in Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Four (VQ-4).

In 2009, Jaris worked as an Assistant Secretary of the Joint Staff at U.S. European Command, where they coordinated visits of high-ranking officials and implemented process improvements.

From 2010 to 2011, they served as an Associate Instructor Pilot at Training Squadron Ten (VT-10).

Jaris then moved on to Naval Aviation Schools Command, where they held positions such as Remote Site Division Officer and Assistant Director, Aviation Survival Department. Jaris was responsible for managing instructors and delivering survival courses to aircrew students.

In 2013, Jaris joined Westermann Bolt & Gasket as a Senior Account Executive and Military & Commercial Sales Group Lead.

From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Zodiac Aerospace as a Project Engineer and later as a Project Engineering Manager. In these roles, they led teams and oversaw the design and development of commercial airline seating products.

Jaris then joined Safran in 2020 as a Senior Program Manager, and later as a Senior Programs Manager. Jaris managed multiple projects and ensured their successful execution.

Most recently, in 2023, Jaris joined First State Bank as the Vice President - Senior Project Manager.

Jaris McClain has a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. In 2010, they pursued graduate coursework in Graduate Statistics and Probability and Graduate Training & Development at the University of West Florida. Jaris obtained a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University in 2013.

Furthermore, in 2012, Jaris McClain earned certifications in Certified Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University. Jaris also completed the Crew Resource Management Instructor program at the U.S. Navy School of Aviation Safety in the same year. Additionally, they attended the U.S. Navy School of Aviation Safety in 2008 and obtained a certification in Aviation Safety Officer.

Jaris McClain has achieved the CSSGB certification from Villanova University, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
