Thomas Sigstad has a diverse work experience history. Thomas started their career at Best Buy as a Sales Associate in 2007. Thomas then moved on to Minnesota State University, Mankato Annual Fund, where they worked as an Assistant Manager from September 2006 to May 2010, overseeing a staff of over 60 students. Thomas then joined Johnny's TV in July 2003 and held various roles, including Salesman, Assistant Repairman, and Cashier until December 2011. Since November 2010, Thomas has been working at First State Bank and Trust, starting as a Bank Teller, then transitioning to a Personal Banker, Trust Operations Manager, and currently serving as the Vice President - Trust Operations.

Thomas Sigstad earned their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Minnesota State University, Mankato, where they attended from 2005 to 2010. Thomas also pursued minors in Statistics and Economics during their undergraduate studies. In addition to their formal education, Thomas Sigstad obtained two certifications: the Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) from the American Bankers Association in August 2019, and the Certified Securities Operations Professional (CSOP) from the same institution in June 2018.
