Steve Sherman M.D.

Steve Sherman, MD, currently serves as the Interim Chief Medical Officer and a Physician at Walmart Health Virtual Care, as well as a Physician at First Stop Health and Amwell Medical Group. Dr. Sherman has extensive experience in urgent care, having worked as an Urgent Care Physician at Scripps Health and Kaiser Permanente since 2015. Additional roles include providing services for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and American Family Care. Prior to the medical field, Dr. Sherman worked in technical roles, including as a Computer Systems Engineer for Northrop Grumman and as a Technical and Cost Analyst for Tecolote Research. Dr. Sherman earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
