Maximillian Alfaro

Maximillian Alfaro has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Data Engineer at First Street Foundation, which they joined in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at Cambridge Systematics, Inc. from August 2021 to February 2023. Maximillian also gained experience as a Technology, Data, & Analysis Intern at the San Francisco County Transportation Authority from January 2021 to August 2021.

In 2018, Maximillian worked as a Machine Learning Intern at UCSF Medical Center, where they focused on building models to classify echocardiogram video segments and implementing convolutional neural networks using PyTorch. Before that, they gained experience as a Bioinformatics Practicum at Revolution Analytics, where they collaborated on projects and built an interactive R Shiny web application.

Maximillian's earliest work experience was as a Videographer at GenHERation, where they filmed and produced interviews with female leaders and aided in the curation of speaker series events.

Maximillian Alfaro obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Data Science from the University of San Francisco, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Later, they pursued further education at the same university and completed their Master's Degree in Data Science from 2018 to 2019.
