Geoff Gerks

Geoff Gerks is a seasoned Chief Human Resources Officer with extensive experience in leading HR functions across multiple large organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at First Student since January 2023, Geoff previously held the same position at Allied Universal from October 2021 to December 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing HR for North America and 300,000 employees across 10 business units. Prior to this, Geoff served as Chief Human Resources Officer for G4S from March 2013 to October 2021, managing HR operations for the Americas region covering 21 countries and over 120,000 employees. Earlier roles include Chief HR Officer for North America and Technology Region at G4S and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Brink’s from October 2009 to March 2013. With a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia College & State University, earned between January 1983 and January 1988, Geoff has demonstrated a strong commitment to optimizing human resources strategies and enhancing workforce management across diverse sectors.
