Russell Richey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Russell started their career at General Motors as a Finance Manager from 1994 to 2002. Following that, they worked at Johnson and Johnson as a Key Account Director from 2003 to 2008. Russell then joined Diamond Contract Services, Inc. as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing a custodial services company with 1,200 employees and revenue of $42 million. Russell worked in this role from 2008 to 2014. Currently, Russell is serving as the Director of Business Development at First Student, the largest home to school bus transportation company in the United States. In this position, they lead the sales efforts to drive revenue growth across North America for van service and alternative transportation. Russell has developed and executed the national sales strategy to target new business for the newly implemented van and alternative transportation service for K-12 students in North America.
Russell Richey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Russell has also completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program with a focus on Finance, General at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In addition, they are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified by the State of Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulation - Board of Accountancy.
