Michael Furchtenicht

Michael Furchtenicht has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Michael started their career in 1984 as an Electronic Technician with SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team Two. From 1989 to 1999, they worked in logistics at AMSEC LLC. In 2000, they joined McPhillips, Roberts & Deans as a Senior Manager, where they managed various financial and consulting engagements for automobile dealership clients until 2012. Since 2012, they have been Chief Financial Officer at First Team Automotive Group, overseeing administrative, financial, and risk management operations.

Michael Furchtenicht obtained a High School Diploma from Lewiston High School from 1979 to 1983. Michael then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University, attending from 1989 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Michael obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Virginia State Board of Accountancy in April 2001. Later on, in October 2013, they also earned the Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from the AICPA.
