Graham Meiklejohn

Graham Meiklejohn is a seasoned professional in communications and regional development within the rail industry, currently serving as the Head of Regional Development, Stakeholders & Communities at TransPennine Express since July 2016. With previous roles including Head of Communications at First Group and First Great Western, Meiklejohn also established Meiklejohn Communications, providing strategic corporate communications focused on the rail and logistics sector. Prior experience includes leadership positions at DB Schenker and EWS, where responsibilities encompassed media relations, internal communications, and stakeholder management. Meiklejohn holds an MA (Hons) in Politics from The University of Edinburgh and has a strong foundation in public affairs and communications, beginning with earlier roles in Railtrack and the Scottish Labour Party.
