Katrina McVitie

Katrina McVitie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the railway industry, currently serving as the TRU Key Outputs Lead at TransPennine Express since November 2023. Previously, Katrina held the position of Head of Franchise Projects at West Midlands Trains from March 2022 to November 2023, where responsibilities included advising on project status and contributing to performance improvement under the National Rail Contract. Katrina's career began at Merseyrail, where as Head of Train Presentation, strategic initiatives were developed to enhance fleet appearance and customer satisfaction, and significant improvements were made during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier roles included station manager and revenue officer, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in operations, compliance, and customer service. Katrina McVitie is also a graduate of the Chartered Management Institute, holding a Diploma in Education, Operations/Department Manager.
