Syed Hamza Adnan

Syed Hamza Adnan is currently a Private Equity Analyst at First Trust Capital Partners, having joined in December 2023. Prior to this role, Syed served as an Analyst focused on Healthcare, Higher Education, and Non-Profits at J.P. Morgan from June 2022 to December 2023. Syed has a strong background in investment management, evident from the presidency of the DePauw University Investment Group, where responsibilities included managing a fund of $1,180,000 and overseeing an executive board. Additional experience includes positions at J.P. Morgan as a Summer Analyst and as an Analyst at Founders & Capital (FAC) SPAC, where leadership in the S-1 filing process was key. Syed also gained early experience as a Venture Capital Fellow at New Stack Ventures. Syed holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from DePauw University and completed O & A Levels in Economics, Pre-Med, and Pre-Engineering at Lahore Grammar School.
