Chris Toye, CFP®, has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Chris began their career at Tampa Connection in 2014, where they served as a Board of Directors Vice Chair. In this role, Chris contributed to the organization's mission of developing business professionals into active volunteers and leaders in the Tampa Bay community.

Following their time at Tampa Connection, Chris joined Morgan Stanley in 2010. Chris initially served as a Senior Registered Associate and later transitioned to the role of Financial Advisor and Financial Planning Specialist. During their tenure, Chris provided expert financial advice and specialized in financial planning for clients.

Most recently, Chris joined First Trust in 2019 as an Internal Wholesaler. Due to their exceptional performance, they were promoted to the position of Vice President in July 2022. In this role, Chris plays an integral part in the company's operations and works closely with clients to provide tailored financial solutions.

Chris Toye, CFP®, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Florida, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. In 2010, they also obtained a Series 7 certification from FINRA. In 2011, they received their Life, Health, Variable Annuity, & Long Term Care Insurance (2-15) license from the Florida Division of Insurance and obtained a Series 66 certification from FINRA. In 2013, Chris obtained the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation from the College for Financial Planning. In 2015, they earned the NMLS#: 1316576 certification from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System. In 2017, they became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, certified by the CFP Board. Most recently, in 2022, Chris completed the Alternative Investments course from Harvard Business School Online and received a Certificate of Completion in the field.
