Cristian Nica

Cristian Nica has extensive experience in the finance industry, currently serving as an Associate for RIA & Institutional Investments at First Trust since March 2007. In this role, Cristian supports RIAs, Portfolio Managers, and Institutions in Southern California and Nevada, focusing on First Trust ETFs, alternatives, direct indexing, and affiliates. Prior positions include Internal Wholesaler for ETFs, SMAs, and mutual funds in North Carolina and UIT & Structured Products Trader at Aon Hewitt. Cristian's early career included roles as a Customer Service Representative at First Valet Inc., where ownership and operation of valet parking services were managed, as well as serving as an Attendance Clerk and coach for cross country and track & field at Chicago Public Schools. Cristian holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lewis University, earned between 2000 and 2005.
