Jon Phillips

Jon Phillips has a diverse work experience in various companies and industries. Jon'smost recent role is as Managing Director and Head of Venture Capital and Private Equity at First Trust since November 2016. Jon is also the Founder and Managing Partner of First Health Capital Partners, LLC since May 2016. Jon has held leadership positions in several healthcare companies, including Streamline Health, Karoo Health, Upfront Healthcare, Wellvana Health, RxAnte, AVIA, and Lightbeam Health Solutions. Additionally, they served as Chairman of Cordata Healthcare Innovations, LLC. Jon has extensive experience serving on boards and committees, demonstrating their expertise and involvement in the healthcare industry.

Jon Phillips completed their education at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, earning an MBA with a focus on Finance and Healthcare. Jon attended this institution from 1997 to 1998. Prior to this, they studied at DePauw University from 1991 to 1995, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
