Michael Conroy

Michael Conroy has extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as an Institutional Sales professional at First Trust since August 2015. At First Trust, Michael is part of the Institutional Investments team, collaborating with various clients including consultants, RIAs, family offices, and institutions, with a focus on exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for portfolio management. Prior to this role, Michael traded agricultural futures at CME Group for personal accounts and served as a CFTC Registered Floor Broker, emphasizing risk strategies and market analysis. Earlier experiences include an officer position at Northern Trust Corporation, where Michael coordinated sales for various investment products, and a role as a regional wholesaler at BMO Harris Bank, building relationships with financial advisors. Michael began the career at Deutsche Bank as a sales representative for Scudder Investments after earning a BA in Business Management from Indiana University Bloomington.
