Mark Dawson

Mark Dawson serves as the President of First United Mortgage and Chief Financial Services Officer, coordinating First United’s Mortgage, Wealth Management, and Insurance, along with oversight of key business units of the bank. Mark has more than 25 years of Mortgage and Financial Services experience in the financial services industry.

Before joining First United, Mark was with Société Générale, New York, N.Y, as a Corporate and Investment Banking Consultant. Prior to that time, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Sebring Capital Corp.; Director of Product Management, GMAC; Marketing Analyst, Metris Corp.; and Client Marketing Representative with Prudential Home Mortgage. Mark has a B.A. from University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota and an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana.

Outside of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and playing golf.
