Scott N. Smathers

Scott N. Smathers is a seasoned real estate professional with a strong background in various aspects of the industry, currently serving as the Homes Project Manager for Opendoor Atlanta Homes since January 2019. A lifelong resident of North Atlanta and a second-generation real estate expert, Scott possesses extensive knowledge of the Metro Atlanta real estate markets. In addition to real estate sales and marketing consultancy at First United Realty, Inc., Scott also has a long-standing role as a Residential Real Estate Appraiser for Advantage Appraisals, Inc. since March 1993. Prior experience includes leadership roles in military education with the US Army and diverse managerial positions in real estate development and appraisal with companies such as Dozier Properties and Nationwide. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Law from Western Carolina University.
