Bill Byers

Bill Byers is the Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer at First Virginia Community Bank. Bill has held this position since June 2014.

Prior to joining First Virginia Community Bank, Bill Byers served as a board member, treasurer, and chairman of the board at the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce from June 2008 to June 2014. Bill also served as the SVP - Community Executive at Middleburg Bank from November 2003 to February 2011, where they managed a 20-person lending team specializing in CRE, C&I, and GovCon.

Before their time at Middleburg Bank, Bill Byers served as the Vice-President Corporate Lending at BB&T from August 2002 to November 2003. Bill also served as the Executive Vice-President and Chief Lending Officer at FVCbank and as a member of the Loudoun County Economic Development Authority Board of Directors from April 2009 to January 2018.

Bill Byers has a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University. Bill is also certified from the Commonwealth of Virginia in Life-Health and Annuities and Property and Casualty Insurance.
