Laura Sorensen

Laura Sorensen is an experienced human resources executive currently serving as Chief People Officer at First Watch Restaurants since September 2016. Prior to this role, Laura held several senior leadership positions at Darden from June 2010 to August 2016, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources for LongHorn Steakhouse. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Human Resources at Chico's FAS, Inc. and Manager of Human Resources and Selling Services at Burdines. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Miami and participation in the Advent International Leadership Academy at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2021.
