Jason Brown

Jason Brown is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as a Communications Business Partner at First West Credit Union since January 2010. In this senior role, Jason leads communications for strategic projects and assists senior leaders in engaging employees with the credit union's core values and objectives. Prior roles include Communications Manager and Media Relations Manager, where Jason successfully managed a team to enhance media coverage and develop significant media relationships. Additionally, Jason has a diverse background in writing and editing across various disciplines since 2006. Jason began the career at Envision Financial, also within the First West Credit Union umbrella, as a Communications Officer. Jason holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Trinity Western University.
