Joe Ballestrasse has extensive experience in the banking and real estate industry. Joe currently serves as the Market President at First Western Trust since March 2022. From 2015 to 2022, they held the position of Director, Commercial Real Estate Lending at Community Banks of Colorado, where they were responsible for commercial real estate finance, business development, and portfolio management. Prior to that, Joe worked at First National Bank of Colorado from 1998 to 2014, where they managed the Boulder Real Estate Team and the Colorado Special Asset Group. Joe also worked at Bank of America as Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Lending and as VP of Special Assets from 1992 to 1998. Before that, they were a Regional Manager at SCM Management/Sovereign Management and Vice President of Real Estate Acquisitions at Oppenheimer Industries. Joe began their career as a Real Estate Analyst at Sovereign Development.
Joe Ballestrasse attended UCLA from 1976 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science/Business.
