Kevin Keane

Kevin Keane has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Kevin is currently employed at FIRST as a Design Lead since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Designer from December 2020 to October 2021, an Associate Designer from July 2019 to December 2020, and a Junior Graphic Designer from February 2018 to July 2019, all at FIRST.

Before joining FIRST, Kevin worked as a Freelancer at Time Inc. from June 2016 to February 2018, where they designed engaging content marketing initiatives and event collateral. Kevin also worked as a Graphic Designer at the Virginia Center for Policing Innovation from January 2016 to February 2018, where they designed branding, coordinated with program managers, and spearheaded video initiatives. Prior to that, they worked as a Media Production Specialist at Prime Publishers Inc. from May 2015 to September 2015, establishing the video department and producing high-quality storytelling.

Kevin's earlier experiences include working as a Staff Photographer at Rochester Institute of Technology from August 2013 to May 2014, where they photographed university events, edited images, and formatted them for web and social media use. Kevin also interned as a Photography Intern at The Taunton Press from September 2011 to June 2013, where their work was published in Fine Cooking Magazine and several cookbooks.

Kevin Keane attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a Minor in Media Studies, specializing in Graphic Design. The exact duration of their education is not provided.
