Michael Reese

Michael Reese is an accomplished professional in the field of theater design and production, currently serving as SVP of Production Strategy and Services at FIRST since January 2022, and as SVP Creative at FIRST- Global Events Agency since August 2016. Prior experience includes a tenure as Vice President of Creative at Barkley Kalpak Agency from January 2005 to August 2016, and extensive freelance work as a lighting and scenic designer for various productions in New York City and regionally from June 2000 to December 2004. Earlier in Michael Reese's career, significant roles included Lighting Designer and Production Manager at Arkansas Repertory Theater from 1993 to 1998, overseeing production teams and designing mainstage shows. Educational achievements include a Master of Fine Arts in Theater Design from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Design from Auburn University.
