Shanel Buchanan

Shanel Buchanan is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in event management and strategic marketing. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at FIRST since May 2021, Shanel has previously held positions as a Project Manager at KKR and Morgan Stanley. Prior roles at J.P. Morgan involved managing strategic events and automating processes to enhance efficiency. Shanel also contributed to marketing campaigns through digital outreach while working at Epic & Co. and facilitated operations projects at UBS. Shanel holds a Bachelor of Science in Direct & Interactive Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University.
