Weijie began their career at Phillips Brooks House Association Inc. as the Chinatown Committee Chair and Chinatown Afterschool Director, where they coordinated various events and oversaw the day-to-day operations of a children's afterschool program. Weijie then worked as an Administrative & Marketing Assistant at Side By Side Financials, LLC, specializing in market research, event preparation, and administrative support.
Weijie then joined the New York City Council as a Constituent Liaison, Social & Human Services, where they managed over 300 constituent cases and cultivated relations with city agencies and community-based organizations. After that, they worked as a Sales Coordinator at Krisam Group, coordinating national hotel sales for group meetings and conferences.
Weijie then joined IJI Productions as a Special Events Planner, where they produced a diverse portfolio of over 150 events and handled vendor relations, account management, contract negotiations, budgets, and more.
