Joanna Andrews has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Joanna is currently working as a Managing Director at FIRSTavenue since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Manager, Strategic Advisory at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from September 2019 to July 2022. Before that, they served as an Investor Relations Senior Manager at Foresight Group from January 2017 to September 2019. Additionally, they worked as an Investor Relations professional at Permira from September 2013 to December 2016. Joanna also has experience as an Account Associate at Coalition Development (Deutsche Bank) from August 2011 to August 2013 and as an Investor Relations/Researcher at MVision Private Equity Advisers from July 2010 to July 2011. Joanna started their career as an Intern at China-Britain Business Council in June 2009 and later worked as a Ministerial Facilitator at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) from August 2008 to August 2009.

Joanna Andrews holds a Master's degree in International Politics - Asian and African Studies from SOAS University of London, which they completed from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of St Andrews, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Joanna began their education at Oundle School, where they completed their A-Levels in French, History, and Geography from 1998 to 2004.
