Mark Bruns

Mark Bruns is an experienced professional in the field of information technology and security. Currently serving as a Board Member at the Cyber Risk Institute since March 2023, Bruns has also held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at FirstBank since March 2018. Prior to these roles, Bruns worked as an Advisory Manager at Deloitte from July 2017 to March 2018, and as the Director of IT Infrastructure and Information Security at naviHealth, Inc. from August 2015 to January 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing IT security architecture and compliance. Additionally, Bruns served as the Director of Infrastructure, Security, and Implementation at Gulfstream Aerospace from April 2014 to January 2015, managing IT operations and security. Bruns holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from Bowling Green State University, earned from January 1982 to January 1987.
