Arman Carter

Arman Carter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Arman started their career as an Administrative Assistant at the Rosalind & Morris Goodman Cancer Institute at McGill University in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Design Intern at MATERIALS MODIFICATION, INC.

In 2013, Arman served as a Materials Researcher at McGill University and also took on the role of Aerodynamics Subteam Leader at the McGill Racing Team.

Starting from 2014, Arman joined Tesla, where they held multiple positions within the Vehicle Lighting Systems department. Arman started as an Materials Engineering Intern in 2014 and later became an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer, a Mechanical Design Engineer, and finally a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Their responsibilities included defining lighting requirements, managing project deliverables, and overseeing a team of designers and engineers.

In 2019, Arman founded their own company, teahorse, Inc., where they served as the Founder & CEO. Under their leadership, they successfully transformed the UforU concept into a profitable business that matches patients with optimal antidepressants. Arman engineered all features of the B2C web app, proved market demand for direct-to-patient medical services, and achieved a $0 customer acquisition cost.

Their most recent role was as a Product and Operations Manager at Firstbase, where they reduced support requests by improving customer notifications, reviewed and mapped processes, and implemented fixes to improve customer satisfaction. Currently, they hold the position of Product Manager (Internal Tools) and is responsible for streamlining internal processes, defining internal statuses, and achieving team OKRs.

Arman Carter completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University from 2010 to 2014.
