Kenji Niwa

Kenji Niwa is the founder and CEO of Firstcard, an angel investment firm. Prior to Firstcard, Kenji was the CEO of i Tank Japan, Inc., a position they held for nine years. At i Tank, Kenji grew the company from an undergrad startup to a leading HR company with over $2M in annual revenue and $300K in operational profit. Kenji also helped 10 thousand students develop their careers as interns and 2 thousand companies hire young great talents.

Kenji Niwa holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Kenji also spent time as a visiting scholar in the field of startup finance / fintech at Stanford University. Kenji Niwa's undergraduate degree is in social sciences from Waseda University. Kenji also holds a certificate in entrepreneurship/business from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
