Dave Gaul

Dave Gaul has extensive experience in the energy sector, having worked at FirstEnergy since 2000, where Dave currently serves as a Senior Consultant within the Transmission & Substation Services Support group. Prior roles at FirstEnergy include Supervisor and Acting Supervisor of Training in Transmission Operations, as well as Sr. Transmission Specialist - Sr. Trainer, focusing on the development and delivery of training for Transmission System Operators to maintain NERC & PJM Certification. Additionally, Gaul has held positions as a Transmission System Operator and Regional Dispatch Operator, ensuring the safe operation of FirstEnergy's Bulk Power System and distribution systems. Prior to their work in the energy sector, Gaul served as a Nuclear Electrician in the US Navy from 1993 to 1999, including time aboard the USS Alexandria.
