Jim O'Neil is an experienced executive with a robust background in leadership and governance. Currently serving as an Independent Director and Compensation Committee Chair at FirstEnergy since January 2017, O'Neil has also held the position of Vice Chairman and CEO at Orbital Energy Group from October 2019 to December 2023, along with serving on the Advisory Board of Hennessy Capital LLC from December 2020 to December 2022. Previously, O'Neil was the President and CEO of Quanta Services, Inc. from August 1999 to March 2016. O'Neil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Tulane University, earned between 1976 and 1980.
