Joann Toth

Joann Toth has extensive experience in market research and business analysis, currently serving as a Grant Management Staff Analyst and previously as a Staff Business Analyst for Customer Experience and Engagement at FirstEnergy since November 2011. Prior roles include Market Research Specialist at GOJO Industries and Market Research Analyst at Progressive Insurance. Joann also has academic experience as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Kent State University and as adjunct faculty at The University of Akron, where involvement included a graduate assistantship and research at the Institute for Health and Social Policy. Educational qualifications include a PhD (ABD) in Sociology from The University of Akron, an MA in Sociology from Kent State University, and a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Kent State University.
