Nathan Turner

Nathan Turner is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience at FirstEnergy since November 2020, currently serving as Manager of Data Science, where Nathan is building a Data Science Center of Excellence focused on AI, ML, and analytics. In previous roles as Supervisor and Data Scientist at FirstEnergy, Nathan provided technical guidance and mentorship to early-career data scientists. Prior to FirstEnergy, Nathan gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington State University, leading research teams and publishing peer-reviewed papers, and served as a Teaching Assistant, instructing undergraduate physics students. Nathan holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Washington State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Ohio University.
