Peter Kotsenas has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Vice President of East Fleet Operations at FirstEnergy since February 2011. Prior to this role, Kotsenas worked at Allegheny Energy for eight years, where responsibilities included directing total operations as Regional Director for various power stations, including the Armstrong and Mitchell facilities, as well as overseeing the Hatfield's Ferry and Lake Lynn regions. Kotsenas holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, earned between 1974 and 1978, and completed secondary education at Langley High School from 1969 to 1974.
