Martina A. Martin, EdD, is the Vice President of the FirstGen Forward Network, leveraging over a decade of experience in student affairs to empower first-generation college students and those living off-campus. They have held various significant roles, including Director of Expert Guidance at the Center for First-generation Student Success and Assistant Director of Academic Advising at the University of Louisville. Martina's educational background includes a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Study along with multiple master's degrees in related fields from Eastern Kentucky University. Their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is demonstrated through strategic leadership and the facilitation of impactful workshops aimed at improving access and resources for underrepresented student populations.
